Target group

In accordance with Swedish law, every employee who is involved in high-temperature work must be up to date in ‘Hot Work’ training.

Training duration

The one-day course is conducted in Polish (with the possibility of also having the training in  English). The course additionally involves practical training in the use of fire extinguishers and other fire-fighting equipment.

Training method

A classroom course covers the theoretical and practical components.

Certification

After completing the training and passing the exam, the participant receives an electronic certificate in a mobile application, valid for five years in Sweden.

It is also possible to receive an additional Hot Work Card (credit card format) free of charge.

 

 

 

Swedish Course – Hot Work

The idea of Hot Work encompasses: welding, grinding, cutting with a blowtorch, soldering etc.  These activities create heat, sparks and fragments which can ignite materials in the vicinity of the workplace.

The Swedish name of the course is Heta Arbeten®.

 

The Heta Arbeten® Course consists of the following thematic modules:

  • Types and identification of fires
  • Responsibilities associated with performing high-temperature work
  • Risk assessment
  • Types of permits for performing hot work
  • Insulation and roofing work
  • Firefighting equipment
  • Alarm capabilities and fire protection methods
  • Insurance regulations related to high-temperature work
