E-learning, approximately 2 hours.
Training method
E-learning carried out by the operator.
It is possible to undertake the course in a classroom setting with an instructor.
Certification
On passing the final test, Offshore Training Centre issue a certificate to confirm completion of the training.
Rigging&Slinging (Offshore).
Rigging & Slinging (Offshore) is an e-training programme provided by the Norwegian training firm Seagull Maritime AS.
The training is conducted in English.
The aim of the training is to provide useful information on the topic of safely harnessing and moving loads. The course endeavours to focus on the most commonly used forms of equipment as well as on helpful advice on how to use it.
The training is based on the following regulations: ISO, ANSI, BSI and LOLER.

- Safe use of slings
- Rules of fastenings and of rigging work
- Maintenance of slings and other equipment used in the process of lifting operations
